5000 songs in your mobile, one of them will make you question the ad agency
So Nokia currently have a campaign running, with a load of pictures of people and a helpful comment like "5000 songs in your pocket, one of them will make you call your ex" "one of them will make you call the friend your girlfriend doesn't like".
I don't want to get reminded of that kind of thing. The last thing I want is for my phone to make me call an ex for a disastrous replay followed by months of agonising because you actually really liked them. I don't really want to be encouraged to call a friend that will get me into trouble (although if you're other half has issues with your friends you've probably structural problems)
The only positive one is "one song will make you call home" with a picture of someone young enough to be a runaway. A runaway with a charger and plug so their Nokia music phone will be ready to go.
I love the power of music to have associations. I have entire albums that drag me back to being a teenager. Other songs remind me of periods in my life. I don't think that all life should be happy and fluffy, and I'm not going to start a good news tirade - but surely the likes of "one song reminds you of your first date" and "one song reminds you of the wander to the pub where you met" is a better sell than "one songs reminds you of having your wisdom teeth extracted"
