I went to see Snakes on a Mother Fucking Plane today. Which was bad. I'm not even sure if it was good bad, it was just quite bad. And some of it looked annoyingly liked they'd been filmed on video or something, and the difference was really jarring. But hey. At least the chavlet trio of girls talking shut up when someone asked them to.

My own fault for not going to the Vue I guess, because also I'd have got the Pearl & Dean music instead of the Carlton Screen Advertising sting. Sad but true, but I do enjoy such things. Anyway, extended adverts at cinemas can be really good. I remember a few years back when Channel4 were doing a big branding campaign and there was an extended version at the cinema. It was good, and the music stuck in my head for weeks, (Catherine Wheel - sparks are gonna fly).

Today however, I got an extended version of the AA "just call out my name" advert. Which is frankly bad enough in it's normal 30 second spot (or whatever it is) but giving that creative the freedom to do the extended 12" remix, along with even more out of tune, out of time, out of place music, just wasn't a good idea...
